With the winter somewhere in the world many people will truly suffer from sore feet that is cracked badly.  In order to sooth this type of pain you can use normal margarine from the fridge and mix it with a little bit of bicarbonate of soda and some baby powder.

Yeah it does sound yuggy but if you put this on your feet for ten nights while using thick socks you will be amazed with the results that you will see.

This weekend passed very quickly with such a change in weather.  First it is extremely hot and then all of a sudden you are freezing and it is raining.  This should already tell you that there is a big problem with the environment.

Do not give up on recycling and doing your bit.  It might not make the big problem we have go away but it will surely prolong it for a while.

I must admit I can feel the change in climate today.  It is probably the worst summer heat I have experienced in my life.  But on the other hand it could have been worse.  Look at all those poor people suffering from all the floods.  Does this not make you think that you are not doing enough for the environment.  Are you recycling and making sure that you do not waste water and electricity.  You know in the end you are not just helping the world but you are helping yourself as well.  You are the one that is going to be able to live in this world longer and save a great amount of money at the end of each month when you receive your water and electricity bills.  So my friends next time before doing anything think about what it can do to you and the place around you.  Yes, you might think that recycling and doing your bit is just a waste of time.  No, it is not.  Look around you and you will see what is happening.  Keep an eye on the news and see how people are suffering through these floods and more.

These days all you hear is people complaining about what is happening with the weather.  First it is too hot or too cold.  If not that they are complaining about all the floods, earthquakes and more.  These are good reasons to complain but the big question is what are you doing as an individual to try and change the environmental problems we are experiencing these days.

I think the most important thing that each of us can do is to start by making a change in our own households.  Try and recycle as much as you can.  Every small effort from your side will surely make the difference we need.

The next time that you put your rubbish out or waste anything that you can recycle you need to look at your children, grandchildren and people around you and think about what is going to happen to them if the people of today does not make a drastic change.  Surely you want them to live a full and healthy life and if you can give them that with a little bit of effort why not.

So come on people let us all stand together and do our part in making this imperative change this instant.

If you want to have the breath of a sweet smelling rose then all you can do is to rinse your mouth with rose water that is not diluted a few times during the day.

At some stage all of us do have a problem with our breaths.  This can be from smoking, too much coffee and many other reasons.

For a quick fix to help you for the day you can take pine needles and rub that against your teeth.

I am not promising that it is going to taste good but at least you won’t have a bad breath that will chase people from you.

Today I realized that it is not about the size of the gift or even a gift that matters to make a birthday special.   Today is my mum’s 50th birthday and I could not do much for her financially.  I got her a nice Cremora tart (she felt for one a while ago) and a little fairy.  She did not expect anything so when we came from work and presented her with this gift it made her day completely.

That is why I say if you can present someone with a nice gesture on their birthday it will mean much more than the worlds most expensive gift.

I have two dogs and a cat and am really struggling with flees.  Unfortunately we stay on the South Coast of South Africa and this is a big problem for many.

If any of you have advice on how I can make life easier for my pets, please let me know as soon as possible.  I have tried any possible kind of flee thing for pets and nothing works.

Have you every woke up on a Monday morning feeling as if you can just pull the covers right back over your head and go to sleep.  Yes, just about everyone.

I had one of those Monday’s today with everything going the opposite way of what I needed it to go.  There is a way for us all to try and have a better day even though it is easier said than done.

You can ensure that all your work is up to date (don’t think I will have that privilege) and tell yourself that it will be a good day.  I can only do this after my third cup of coffee, but it surely is worth the try.

Let me know if you have any ideas in making a gloomy Monday looking much brighter.

Getting the perfect garland from someone who does not always have the exact same vision as you have can be one of the worst nightmares ever.  Why not get your favorite flowers and items and make your own garland.

I am going to teach you how to make a flexible garland which symbolizes elegance and romance.  You can make this quickly and store for a while.

Take some Spanish moss and encase this into a garland.  If your garland is longer then you can add one of two pieces together.  You can then take Ivy or something similar you like and wrap that around the base of the moss.  You can secure the Ivy/other plant with fishing line or even floral wire that you can buy at the florist.

Not that you have this base ready you can use the flowers you really want and insert them in which order you want it.  Try and keep the stem to around three to five centimeters so that they can fit in nicely.

This is one garland that will look great and you will appreciate it much more because of the fact that you made it yourself.
